Marsden wins patent
for drying system
Marsden Inc., of Pennsauken, NJ, has been awarded a US patent for its combination air and IR drying system. Marsend manufactures gas infrared drying systems for the pulp and paper industry.
The new system, named AIR, combines variable power density, embedded combustion infrared for rapid heat transfer with hot air bars for additional heat transfer, mass transfer and sheet stabilization.
